Ukraine: 41 former workers of SE Eastern Mining & Processing Plant developed occupational diseases

Performance indicators of Main Department of Pension Fund of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Region for the first quarter of 2024, 1 April 2024

From January to March 2024, a total of 66 reports of accidents, acute occupational diseases (poisoning), and chronic occupational illnesses were received and registered.
The majority of chronic occupational disease reports came from former employees of SE Eastern Mining and Processing Plant: Smolinska Mine – 24 reports (57.1% of the total), Ingulska Mine – 11 reports (26.2%), Novokostiantynivska Mine – 6 reports (14.3%), and others – 1 report (2.4%).
