中国: 三星代工厂东莞新洋电子被指雇用童工,三星声明若证据确凿将永久终止合作

“三星发现中国代工厂家雇用童工「证据」”, 2014年7月14日

韩国电子业巨头三星电子公布,该公司在中国广东的一家代工企业发现「怀疑雇用童工的证据」…三星电子…称已决定「暂停」与这家工厂的合作…一旦发现指控属实,三星将永久终止与其合作。三星电子在一份声明中称,他们对雇用童工采取「零容忍」政策,该公司将强化自家厂区与代工工厂的招募程序,确保有关问题不会再次发生。声明说,三星电子自2013年起已对东莞新洋电子进行了三次核算…但并未发现任何雇用童工案例。不过,该公司在中国劳工观察提出有关指控后再次调查,并发现了「在6月29日一次非法招募过程的证据」…东莞新洋电子暂未对有关指控发表回应。
