日本:三菱自動車、女性管理職を3倍に増やす意向

三菱自動車の相川哲郎(あいかわてつろう)社長(60)は六日、本紙などのインタビューで、「女性が活躍できる場を広げていきたい」と述べ、管理職に就く女性の数を現在の三十人程度から、三倍を目安に増やしていく考えを明らかにした。政府は女性の活躍を新成長戦略の柱の一つに掲げており、三菱自も女性幹部登用に力を入れる。

 相川氏は「女性や外国人の活躍の場を考えるための専門組織を四月に社内で立ち上げた」と説明。「品質やサービスの改善などで、男性だけでは判断や評価に偏りが出る。顧客ニーズに対応するためにも、まずは女性の活躍の場を拡大させていきたい」と語った。(記事本文より)
