[McDonald's response regarding union dismissal in Azerbaijan

Since its opening in the Azerbaijan market, McDonald’s has been a leading employer and has been pursuing a progressive personnel policy based on principles of mutual understanding and cooperation. The company strictly abides by the current Azerbaijan Law. We respect employees’ rights and their wish to create or join any organizations at their time-off. Company priority is to ensure that employees’ rights are observed and to create conditions for them which help fulfill their potential as well as to provide compensation and benefit, training and development, motivational programs which significantly exceed legal regulations…As for the case mentioned, the Court found in favor of McDonald’s in both cases. McDonald’s has been and will continue to be an open and transparent company and devoted to its customers and its employees.
