The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is at a critical point in its development. Our digital platform is home to a wealth of information on business and human rights, but hasn’t had a visual refresh for a number of years.

We will soon be updating the site to improve its usability and better serve the thousands of people that use our site to support their work.

The online consultation on the draft guide for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on human rights (PDF) is now open until 26 September 2012. This draft guide has been produced in the course of a European project “Capacity building for SMEs in the field of human rights”, financed by the European Commission...The aim of this guide is to provide practical advice to SMEs on how to meet the expectations of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights...Comments on this draft guide are welcome. In particular, comments are invited for the following questions: Is the guide consistent with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights? If not, how should it be made more consistent? Is the guide practically useful for SMEs? Do you have any suggestions for how to make it more practically useful?
