The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights presents its compliments to all Permanent and Observers Missions to the United Nations Office in Geneva, specialized agencies, other intergovernmental organizations, national human rights institutions and non-governmental organizations and has the honour to inform the following:

At the final meeting of its third session, the Open-ended intergovernmental working group on transnational corporations and other business enterprises with respect to human rights (OEIGWG) requested the Chair-Rapporteur to undertake informal consultations with States and other relevant stakeholders on the way forward on the elaboration of a legally binding instrument pursuant to the mandate of resolution 26/9.

In that regard, all States and other relevant stakeholders are invited to participate in a series of open informal consultations on the implementation of the above-referred mandate, in accordance with the following details:

• First open informal consultation: Thursday, 17 May 2018, 09:00-10:00, Palais des Nations, (Room XVI);

• Second open informal consultation: Friday, 25 May 2018, 10:00-12:00, Palais des Nations, (Room XXVI);

• Third open informal consultation: Tuesday, 11 June 2018, 10:00-12:00, Palais des Nations, (Room IX);

• Fourth open informal consultation: Wednesday, 11 July 2018, 10:00-12:00, Palais des Nations, (Room XII)
