Purpose: To state and reinforce Tahoe Resources' policy regarding the protection of Human Rights and provide guidelines for the implementation and enforcement of this Policy...Respect for Human Rights within the spheres of its activity and influence are an integral part of Tahoe Resources’ ethical standards. 2. Tahoe Resources recognizes the rights and freedoms set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and it supports the implementation frameworks described in the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights. 3. Tahoe Resources' business shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws of the jurisdictions in which it operates. We stri ve to always reflect a high ethical standard and respect for the law and expect our stakeholders to do the same. Where state laws conflict with international human rights norms, we will comply with the law but endeavor to meet the spirit of the standard...Compliance with the Human Rights Policy is managed by the General Counsel’s office and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and overseen by the Board of Directors’ Health, Safety, Environment and Community Committee.
