Peaceful protesters against Excellon's La Platosa mine threatened with force (Aug-Sep 2012) [Mexico]

On 29 Aug 2012, the Mexican army forcefully broke up a peaceful protest against Excellon's La Platosa mine. Protesters included workers who demanded that Excellon respect freedom of association & landowners who called for the company to comply with clauses of its land rental agreement requiring Excellon to provide for development projects for the community.
