Qatar: Govt. sanctions 11 companies for violating Covid-19 restrictions

The [Labour Ministry] has taken action against 11 companies in Qatar for violating certain COVID-19 precautionary restrictions...

[including] putting up more than the allowed number of workers in accommodations and for not making workers follow social distancing rule while getting in and out of shuttle buses.

The violations were found during an inspection drive...

[on] various sectors such as trade, contracting, agricultural, irrigation, electrical and mechanical services, technical services, transportation, supplies, and facilities management.
