Resource Hub for Indigenous Rights offers tools for Indigenous Peoples to assert their rights in managing their territories & resources

Equitable Origin (EO) and the Coordinator of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin (COICA) are pleased to announce the Resource Hub for Indigenous Rights financed by the organization Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation for the Americas ( MCFA).

EO and COICA have partnered to design and develop a virtual Resource Center that collects training materials, tools and information, to help Indigenous Peoples to know and assert their rights in order to promote their active participation in decisions about the use of their territories, and the management and development of natural resources, as opposed to the development of industries and / or administrative-governmental policies in those territories.

This platform is a repository that provides a source for permanent documentary research, where you will find guides on legislation, voluntary standards, resource development maps, tools and monitoring guides, as well as links to resources from other organizations, as well as standards. This is a user friendly and interactive platform that maximizes the ability of Indigenous Peoples to access various resources, allowing them to filter them by country, industry sector and language.
