Status Report on the draft Human Rights Code of Conduct

...Contrary to recent news reports, approval by the panel does not impart any governmental or UN support for the draft code. The USCIB position – supported by joint statements by the International Chamber of Commerce and International Organization of Employers – has been that draft code is unworkable, unnecessary, and counter productive to efforts to promote corporate responsibility.
