The Better Buying Purchasing Practices Index Report 2018 evaluates purchasing practices in the apparel, footwear, and household textile sector examining performance on seven key categories of purchasing practices. The Index Report is the first-ever independent survey of buyers’ purchasing practices performance. [It] compiles findings about 65 leading brands and retailers based on 218 buyer ratings submitted by 156 suppliers headquartered in 24 countries. The best performing category was Payment and Terms, while the worst performing [...]  was Sourcing and Order Placing. [Other categories included Planning and Forecasting, Design and Development, Cost and Cost Negotiations.]
