After the course participants will: have understood the linkages between business and human rights (law) in a globalizing world; have become familiar with the most relevant business and human rights regulatory and policy frameworks; have learnt about legal and practical challenges involved in protecting human rights in relation to business operations from policy makers and practitioners working in the field; have gained first-hand practical experience in business and human rights in the course of a field trip to orporations and NGOs in The Hague and a field trip to Amsterdam.
