USA: TJ Maxx and Home Goods follow Walmart with plan to raise wages

TJX Cos, owner of TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods, will boost pay for its US workers to at least $9 an hour in sign more competitors could follow suit...In 2016, the company plans to pay all associates who have worked at its stores for more than six months at least $10 per hour...Ikea gave workers at its US division a 17 percent average raise to $10.76 an hour...Gap Inc raised its minimum hourly wage to $9 last year and to $10 this year.
