Regarding the case of Mr. Luis Misael Socarrás, in December 2025, Cerrejón activated the established protocol for addressing threats against social leaders. On 19 December 2025, the case was formally brought to the attention of the relevant authorities, including the Municipality of Albania and the Attorney General’s Office, requesting the corresponding investigation and protection measures.
