Azza Soliman, an Egyptian human rights defender, was unable to withdraw money from her account or the account of her law firm, Lawyers for Justice and Peace, from the Ahli United Bank in Egypt. While Azza alleges that the bank is complicit with the government's reprisals against her for her work on human rights, Ahli United Bank claims that its actions were done in accordance with Egyptian Law.
