Clean Clothes Campaign report "Cashing In" and company responses
On 10 February 2009 Clean Clothes Campaign launched its “Cashing In” report on five global retailers: Aldi, Carrefour, Lidl, Tesco, Walmart. It highlighted poor working conditions in the companies' supply chains in Asia and said they were not taking sufficient action to address the problems.
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited the five companies to respond:
