The University of Connecticut's Thomas J. Dodd Research Center has honored a[n]...organization that monitors the impact on human rights of international business practices...The [Business &] Human Rights Resource Centre, which received the Thomas J. Dodd Prize in International Justice and Human Rights on Wednesday, focuses on the human rights records of more than 5,100 companies operating in about 180 countries. "In that way, we keep the pressure up, to make sure human rights are taken into full consideration," said Phil Bloomer, director of the human rights group.
