Field Visit: November 22 to December 15, 2005... In general, CEP found people in the communities supportive of the company's presence as an engine for economic development... Chief among their many concerns...was that they found it difficult to get access to information about company operations and feel powerless to influence or to contact decision makers. As well, there is a strong current of feeling that the company has not lived up to its promises and is not doing enough to support the communities in return for gaining access to the mineral resource.
