France will file legal complaints against ecommerce platforms AliExpress and Joom for selling sex dolls that resemble minors, its commerce minister said, as Shein awaits a judicial ruling on a three-month ban. Other ecommerce platforms including Temu, Wish and eBay are also under investigation for selling illicit products on their marketplaces. In some cases these included weapons such as machetes and brass knuckles, as well as having pornographic materials accessible by minors. Temu said it did not allow third-party sellers to list products that failed to meet applicable regulations. Wish and eBay did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
