Honduras: Human Rights Violations in Bajo Aguán

...one of the regions most affected by tension and repression has been the Bajo Aguán Valley. Peasant movements in this area, who fight for access to land in order to exercise their right to food, are faced with a situation of permanent harassment and abuse by public security forces, as well as by members of private security companies.
