Kraft responses re alleged anti-union activities in Egypt & Tunisia

On 3 September 2012 Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Kraft Foods & Société Tunisienne de Biscuits (partly owned by Kraft) to respond to allegations that Cadbury workers in Egypt faced dismissal for inciting a labour strike and that Société Tunisienne de Biscuits also sacked a union representative in Tunisia over union activities...On 4 September 2012 Kraft Foods sent the Resource Centre...[a] response. Société Tunisienne de Biscuits have not yet responded; we will indicate whether they do or not...On 26 September 2012 the Intl. Union of Food workers (IUF) sent the Resource Centre a rejoinder to Kraft Foods’ response...On 2 October 2012 Kraft Foods sent the Resource Centre a response to the IUF's rejoinder
