Myanmar: Garment workers allegedly face mandatory overtime, excessive production targets & verbal abuse; Incl. co. response

In April 2023, it was reported that workers at Shuangxi Myanmar factory faced abuses including denial of leave, mandatory overtime, excessive production targets and verbal abuse if targets are not met, workers prevented from talking to each other during working hours, wage deductions if workers are late to work, and denial of permanent contracts.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited JAKO to respond.
