Private sector is not the answer for the 1.2 billion people who lack water

'New Rules, New Roles: Does PSP (private sector participation) benefit the poor?' shows that the private sector is unlikely to be able to provide water to the 1.2 billion people currently lacking it. WaterAid and Tearfund want institutional organisations like The World Bank to stop blanket promotion of this as the main solution to the world water crisis.
