"Indian consulate helps 60 workers in Dubai left without food, salary," 21 Jan 2020

The Indian Consulate in Dubai is assisting a group of around 60 Indian workers who are left in the lurch by their companies that were unable to pay their salaries for the last six to eight months and also failed to provide them basic necessities...

the workers were employed with two companies that were run by two Indian expatriates... [Consul General Vipul said] "Out of the 100 employees the companies have, 60 are Indians."

Vipul said that the workers will file a labour case now and are hopeful their dues will get settled in the next two to three weeks.
