The Bush administration's plan to spur coalbed methane development in Western states could be jeopardized by a ruling that the government failed to thoroughly analyze the environmental impacts of three Wyoming leases, U.S. green groups said this week...Environmental groups contend that when the gas is removed, sodium in the water flows into streams, harming cattle and local residents.
