On January 12, 2023, approximately 18 workers from the companies Sidor and Bauxilum were detained by police officers in Bolivar State, Venezuela. The workers were protesting for better salaries. As a result of the arrest, they are accused of instigation to hatred, association to commit a crime, and disturbance of the public order.
