On 5 June 2024, 150 families were violently evicted from their territory in Agua Blanca Sur, Yoro, Honduras by police. The police were carrying out a court order favouring sugar company AZUNOSA. Allegedly members of the community were beaten and pepper spray was used against them during the eviction.
