Relationship between NGOs and Morales strained since TIPNIS, government threatens to expel all NGOs, accusing them of political activism and deeming them tools of multinationals. NGOs in Bolivia have been under harassment by Govt. staff, including President Morales and Vice President García-Linera allegedly because they oppose oil operations in 7 national parks. Companies interested in investing and/or expanding their business are: YPFB (State owned company), in joint ventures wit Petrobras (Brazil), Repsol (Spain) and Total (France). None of the companies have referred to the situation of the CSOs.
