"Webinar: SLAPPs as a Global Phenomenon", 7 Oct 2020

The Center for Not-for-Profit Law, Greenpeace International, and Business & Human Rights Resource Centre [hosted] a webinar to discuss the use of abusive litigation by private actors against activists, journalists, and community members around the world, as well as effective responses to this threat. This webinar shares accounts from activists who have been targeted by SLAPPs and presentations, the most recent research findings on the scope and dimensions of the problem, and what can be done to address this threat.
