Heineken allegedly continues investments in Russia despite promises to stop, new investigation finds; incl. co. statement

Heineken's Russian subsidiary continues investments in the brand, launches new products and sets plans for 2023. These activities contradict headquarter's decision to leave Russia which was announced in March 2022.

Heineken published a statement saying that it will keep its promise to leave Russia and is actively looking for a buyer. At the same time, the company claims it does not receive any dividents from its Russian subsidiary and that it is focusing on protecting its employees, respecting existing laws and finding a suitable buyer who could secure employees' future.
