VF expects its suppliers to take all necessary steps to prevent, investigate, and remediate all incidences of violence and harassment, including GBVH, in their workplace. If we receive information indicating that a specific facility may be violating our Global Compliance Principles, we have processes to investigate and confirm remediation. We have ended and will end our business relationships with suppliers who refuse to remediate human rights issues.

Since your report, we have continued to work with our suppliers in India and monitor for issues. Additionally, we continue to leverage partners to provide GBVH education in our supplier factories, as well as initiating programs in relevant regions to increase women’s empowerment and address GBVH in surrounding communities. We have and will continue to prioritize and advance this work to remediate and prevent future issues, understanding that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution.
