The Ust-Kamenogorsk metallurgical site of Kazzinc LLC paid fines totaling 1.8 billion tenge. The violations concerned the use of faulty treatment equipment, exceeding emission and waste disposal limits, and submitting inaccurate reports. JSC Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Plant (UK TMP) paid 24 million tenge in fines.
