Kroger response to allegations of child labour in Ralphs' poultry supply chains

As a responsible business, Kroger has a long history of respecting human rights for workers in our operations and global supply chain. We are discouraged to see reports of child labor increasing in the U.S., and we are particularly concerned about suppliers respecting human rights for vulnerable children. As part of our detailed Vendor Code of Conduct, we expect all of our U.S. suppliers to regularly monitor their operations and contracted service firms. We are in the process of expanding the scope of our social compliance program to include more U.S. facilities in light of recent reports.
