... To further address the risk of exploitation of women by their managers, we revised our supplier code of conduct in 2020 to mandate simple and clear compensation and contractual terms. We also mandate rigorous yet contextually appropriate hiring and representation ratios of women through factory middle and top management... we have been eagerly studying risk mitigation strategies to determine which might be scalable and can be duplicated throughout the apparel supply chain.

Following the BHHRC report, we are taking another close look at our suppliers in Bangalore to ensure that any kind of abuse has no place at the factories...
