Pirelli response

Pirelli - Background information

Pirelli entered in Russia in 2011 acquiring two car tyre plants (Voronezh and Kirov), employing around 2300 people at the end of 2021, with 50% of the production devoted to the local market and revenues accounting for 3% on group total.

Russia - Pirelli Position

Pirelli is against this war and is supporting the Ukrainian population with a donation of 500,000 euro and is facilitating the collection of funds among employees

A “Crisis Committee” has been activated since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, to constantly monitor its development, define mitigation actions and a contingency plan.

As of today, the investments in Russia have been halted, excluding those linked to health & safety.

The activities of the factories in Russia will be progressively limited to those needed to guarantee the financing of salaries and social services for employees.
