BHRC invited Compagnie Minière de Musonoie (COMMUS) to respond to allegations of workers’ rights abuses at its Kolwezi operations, including unfair wages, wage theft, unfair dismissals, occupational health & safety issues, impacts on personal health, discrimination and abuses of collective rights (freedom of association and right to unionise). The company did respond.
