...the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, announced that sand with fuel oil brought from the beaches of Anapa and the Temryuk district would be removed within two weeks from the landfill in the Semikarakorsky district back to the Krasnodar region. On June 7, authorities reported that 1,800 tons of sand had been sent to Krasnodar Krai.
According to the court's decision, the Rostov company Yuzhny Gorod, which owns the landfill in the Semikarakorsk district, violated the article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Conducting business activities with gross violations of the conditions stipulated by the license." The maximum period for suspension of work is 90 days.
The court closed the Yuzhny Gorod landfill for 60 days. But if an appeal is filed, the facility will continue to operate until a new decision is made...
After the residents' appeal, a commission was sent to the landfill. According to the Rostov Region Ministry of Natural Resources, 1,800 tons of sand with fuel oil are stored at this landfill according to the rules. At the same time, liquid chemical waste of unknown origin continues to arrive at the landfill, which penetrates the soil and threatens the irrigation reservoir.
Sand with fuel oil, returned from the Rostov Region, is accepted at the Biopotential enterprise in the Temryuk District. About a third of the sand after processing will be sent for use in construction.
Sand with fuel oil is brought from the beaches of Anapa to a temporary storage site in the village of Voskresenskoye.
