…This report, Managing risk in unstable countries: Promoting conflict-sensitive investment in South Sudan, focuses on Chinese companies currently operating, or looking to invest, in South Sudan. It explores some of the key challenges faced by Chinese companies and offers suggestions on how companies can contribute to a more stable and prosperous future for the people of South Sudan. The report builds on a series of workshops convened and research conducted by Saferworld in China and South Sudan during the course of 2014.
