UK retailers fail to curb conflict gems
Diamond retailers in the UK are failing to play their part in the battle against conflict diamonds and risk undermining the United Nations-backed initiative [Kimberly Process] to clean up the industry, according to a report to be released today...by Amnesty International and Global Witness...A majority of companies contacted replied in writing to the survey.
