UNDP calls for global culture of human rights at World Conference Against Racism

At a global conference on racism, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is underscoring the need for concrete steps to combat intolerance and racial discrimination as a way of helping the world meet development targets...UNDP Administrator Mark Malloch Brown...said that UNDP understands the inextricable link between human rights and human development and, thus, has adopted a rights-based approach to development.
