Victims file amended complaint in US lawsuit against chocolate firms over alleged child forced labour & slavery in Côte d'Ivoire

Eleven years after filing the initial lawsuit, individuals from Mali filed an amended complaint in their class action lawsuit in the USA against Nestlé, Archer Daniels Midland and Cargill in July 2016.  They allege they were trafficked from Mali as child slaves and forced to harvest cocoa beans on farms in Côte d’Ivoire.
