Willerme Agorde, Filipino and an elderly leader of the peasant group died hours after he was shot in front of his home. His son said that his father’s death could be politically motivated. Agorde was among the farmers who staged a protest inside the school grounds of state college to claim the lands that they had been tilling before the school existed.
