IKN and CBMI, the German and Chinese international cement industrial contractors have formed a partnership to construct a new kiln in the Lumbres cement plant. CBMI is a global leader in the delivery of specialised engineering projects for the cement industry and has carried out cement industrial projects in Europe for many years, including in France. IKN, a leading cement technology provider, is responsible for the process design and the supply of critical process equipment, while CBMI is responsible for all construction activities.

The Chinese project management staff and workers are direct employees of our partner CBMI, and not of IKN. However, IKN is happy to confirm that the working conditions on the project conform to local regulations and are subject to inspection by the relevant authorities.
