A local advocacy group representing minorities from Baringo community contacted the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre to support communication with the Geothermal Development Company (GDC) relating to the Baringo Geothermal project. The group alleged that GDC have failed to meaningfully engaged with local community. The Resource Centre reached out to GDC requesting the company perspective on the allegation. The company did not respond to the outreach.
