Profile: Ethical sourcing highlights Cadbury’s commitment

In 2001, [Cadbury’s]…created a formal board corporate social responsibility (CSR) committee…But when it comes to initiatives such as ethical sourcing, water conservation and reduction of carbon emissions…the company also recognises the need for functional executives to report to the board.
