Tracking allegations of corporate abuse in the Occupied Palestinian Territory

The private sector plays a significant role in modern global conflict. Businesses and investors can drive and enable conflict through weapons supplies, resource exploitation and harmful business practices. The dynamics underpinning corporate involvement in conflict are today nowhere more visible than in the Occupied Palestinian Territories: from arms and surveillance technology to logistical services, devastation in Gaza and occupation in the West Bank appear impossible without the support of the private sector.

After decades of occupation, Israel intensified attacks and bombardment of Palestinians in Gaza in October 2023, beginning a genocide identified by a UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry in September 2025. UN experts and NGOs alike have repeatedly highlighted “the role of corporate entities in sustaining the illegal Israeli occupation and its ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza”.

Since October 2023, the Business and Human Rights Centre (BHRC) has recorded allegations of corporate abuse spanning sectors including technology, finance, tourism, logistics, construction, manufacturing, media and defence.

These allegations have been consolidated from publicly-available media sources, as well as UN and NGO reports. While an allegation against a firm with business relationships or operations in Israel or the Occupied Palestinian Territory does not constitute a finding of liability, this picture of the purported role of business in these harms increasingly suggests wilful ignorance or a sense of collective, corporate impunity across many sectors.
