ITUC releases 2020 Global Rights Index, naming worst performing countries for protection of workers' rights

On 18 June 2020, the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) released its Global Rights index, mapping international worker rights' violations and naming the worst offending countries. The findings of the report cover a wide range of abuses, including: violations of collective bargaining and the right to strike, excluing workers from joining unions, government surveillance on unions & their members, violence and killings and the limiting of freedom of speech.
