AE Industrial Partners did not respond to regarding Graphite spyware use in the USA
On 30 October 2025, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited AE Industrial Partners to respond to allegations concerning its investee company, REDLattice. US federal lawmakers allege that allowing ICE to use Graphite spyware produced by REDLattice “threatens Americans’ freedom of movement and freedom of speech.” Additional human rights concerns have been raised since it is reasonably foreseeable that REDLattice's tools may be used to monitor immigrants, people of color, or critics of the government, which would infringe on freedom of movement, speech, and protection from discrimination.
As stated in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights, investors have a responsibility to use their leverage to ensure that those with whom they have business relationships, including portfolio companies, respect human rights.
