Cambodian journalist Luos Seng is the owner of online news station LSN News TV and one of the journalists allegedly targeted by provincial authorities for covering villagers' protests against the new Phnom Penh Airport in Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. On 5 September 2021, he was prevented from covering the press conference because of threats to be arrested. The British Norman Foster & Partners and the Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC) are contracted to design and build the mega-project, financed by the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC) and the China Development Bank (CDB).
